so i just watched my neighbour from two doors down (a rather cute young woman, but who gives me the "danger danger will robinson"s) come over to my place and grab the junk mail out of my post box on my deck and walk back, cigarette in hand, to her place. all calm like she does it all the time.

I have considered putting my own address down on some spam snail-mail lists, just so I could invest in a log press and recycle them
well, some people just love having lots of spam around. My parents' for example specifically asked the mailman to deliver *all* of the local spam mail to our mailbox, so it is usually about 3 cm thick stack of spam whenever there is any junk mail. What do they need the spam for, remains unknown to me. The paper doesn't even burn decently...

I'd do a credit check and turn her in to your postal inspector. That can be a pretty good way to get a "free" checking account or credit card.

Ever heard of identity theft? I think you should go over and ask her why she did that.
She's digging through your mail looking for Christmas cards in the hope that there's money inside. We had the same problem with a bunch of teenagers in my neighborhood a couple of years ago.
