ill cat

i returned home last night to learn that my cat is ill. he's in the animal hospital overnight getting some tests done. hopefully he'll be alright.

i think t. was a bit upset with me over the whole issue as i was going to wait until monday and was a bit shocked at the cost of the treatment. she's someone for whom the health and wellbeing of an animal is worth just about any effort and expense and, with tears in her eyes, probably found my reactions a bit callous.

relationships are amazingly complex, doubly so when jet lagged, trebly when a loved member of the family (the cat, in this case) is having medical issues ...
