at the end of a long weekend at the end of an even longer week, it strikes me that i need to make next weekend a relaxing one so as provide some punctuation to the pace of things. this weekend was awesome though, no mistake about that.
fixed stuff in the pager (mostly performance and sizing behaviours), reviewed a bunch of patches, did some performance reviews and bug hunting, caught up on some kde4 marketing and communications stuff, went to a move with p., finished christmas shopping, wrapped gifts, cleaned house, went to an irish restaurant with p and his aunt to listen to some traditional irish music (played by people with real irish accents, no less =) ... as well as the usual miscellany. pretty much non-stop go-go. i wouldn't trade a moment of it, though i could use an extra sunday tomorrow ;)
for the wrapping gifts part, i try and do something a bit more interesting than simply buying brightly coloured paper to wrap stuff up in. i don't always succeed, but on occasion i do. this year i've wrapped the holiday gifts in tibetan prayer flags. turned out a bit better than i'd expected and it's definitely on the different side. whee. =)

Re: Tibetan prayer flags, when they need to be disposed of please do so properly by respectfully burning them.
actually, my hope is that the recipients will hang them in a public area. =) given the people i'm giving these things to, i think there's a good chance of that...

I'm pretty happy with my weekend - it's great to be coding again - but despite reststing the urge to code all night I still didn't sleep well. I'mm gonna go pass out now before it's classtime again
I have compiled revision 746504 of plasma in playground and I must said that it is faster than previous ones. Previous versions were very choppy when you moved the widgets. And kwin is faster too.
I'm using AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+ and Nvidia Geforce 6600, adn 2 1280x1024 monitors in xinerama.
I am willing to test any new pages affecting xinerama.
And I go with the traditional paper...however, I go all out with the bows/goodies/doo dads/ that adorn them! hehe...
One year we REALLY need to 'do' the holidays together!
