I did the unusual thing of taking the weekend off. I even managed to get out all by myself for a more adult night on Saturday, something that becomes a cherished moment as a single parent. =) It was back to work today, though, feeling a bit more refreshed than when I went into the weekend. It was wonderfully easy to not touch a computer all weekend, so at least I'm addiction free still. ;)
In the same category of events (the non-usual), I'll be on an Internet show hosted by Marcel Gagne, a fellow I've known for a couple years now who has been a terrific F/OSS evangelist and supporter for much longer than that via his work efforts, his writing and his lobbying.
The show is hosted over at UStream.tv. Unfortunately it uses the nasty proprietary flash but it does provide video. Due to various limitations, I won't actually be appearing visually but will be audible. I'll be on the WTFL show live at 23:30 UTC tomorrow, Tuesday the 23rd. There's a live chat and what not which is fun, but if you can't make it live the shows are recorded and can be watched after the fact.
We will be talking mostly about F/OSS and it's socioeconomic impacts, though I'm sure a little KDE will slip in here and there. =)
